[VIDEO] - Goods worth 30 thousand pounds were stolen from us by Amjet Mahmood from Birmingham. He lies that our products are defective showing deliveries from other companies! - Polish furniture makers alerted

- We trusted the British company RJF FURNISHINGS from Birmingham.  Meanwhile, the boss, Amjet Mahmood, swindled furniture from us, they are not in stock and she does not want to pay!  - the owners of the company PPUH PROSNA from Wieruszów are alarming.

Zbigniew Sobczak and his wife run a furniture company in the Łódź and Opole provinces.  They employ nearly 30 people and their products are appreciated by customers.

- At the beginning of the year, we received information that the owner of the British company RJF FURNISHINGS from Birmingham, Amjet Mahmood, is ready to buy our products because he trades on Amazon, eBay and Facebook.  He offered to communicate via Whatsupp and started buying corners from us - say Polish entrepreneurs.

The Polish company began delivering furniture to Great Britain from the beginning of January.  Amjet Mahmood paid for the first 10 shipments without any problems.

- But since April, he stopped paying. He claimed that there are complaints, he himself has problems, allegedly because of us.  And in fact he showed us faulty furniture from other manufacturers! - say entrepreneurs from Wieruszów.

  As of today, the company RJF FURNISHINGS from Birmingham didn’t pay Zbigniew Sobczak and his company 30 thousand pounds.

- British lawyers have checked that Amjet Mahmood has no intention of settling accounts with us. That it is simply a scammer - say Polish entrepreneurs.

Zbigniew Sobczak reported to the Polish police that Amjet Mahmood, as the owner of the RJF FURNISHINGS company from Birmingham, had committed a willful crime of extortion.

Amjet Mahmood, whom we called Monday, asked for questions in writing.  But he didn't answer any question.

The owner of the Polish company does not intend to leave the matter like this. 

Below we present the statement that he issued with his wife:

We regret to inform you that we have become a victim of the crime of extorting goods. The company that cheated us was RJF Furnishings, based in Birmingham.

The owner of RJF Furnishings, Amjed Mahmood, calculated and thoughtfully used our commitment and the trust we placed in his company.

Birmingham-based RJF Furnishings owes us more than £ 30,000 for the goods delivered, but Mr. Amjed Mahmood is reluctant to pay this amount.

Our cooperation began at the beginning of this year. The first delivery of the ordered goods took place in mid-January.

Subsequent deliveries were cyclical and everything went well. Everything was so well that the owner of the RJF Furnishings company - Amjed Mahmood, proposed a closer cooperation, the details of which we were to discuss during his visit to our company.

However, at the end of March, payments for the goods received began to drag on in time. We received assurances about payments all the time. Unfortunately, the situation was getting worse. Payments continued to be delayed and protracted. When we started to press for payment, the head of RJF Furnishings announced that he had complaints about our goods. Of course, we wanted to know what the complaints are, what they concern and which type of goods. We have received assurances that the list with complaints will be sent to us. Payments were still not being made. Each time we asked for payment, Mr. Amjed Mahmood - the owner of RJF Furnishings, covered himself with the complaints received and the promises concerning the complaints will be sent to us. It was like that for over a month.

The non-payment situation forced us to send a payment notice to RJF Furnishings and set a payment deadline. Unfortunately, no one wrote back to us. On the last day, when we asked for the payment again, Mr. Amjed Mahmood asked us to wait for the complaint list. We waited a few more days and after more reminders about the complaint list, we received it.

After opening the list of complaints, it turned out that the vast majority of complaints are not our production.

Some of them were still 3 months ago before starting cooperation with us. The documents attached to the complaint clearly indicated deliveries to customers that were still in 2020.

Technical solutions from the advertised corners were different from those used in our company. A different way of mounting details, size of buttons, other places of assembly of decorative elements, sewing method, material, these elements indicated that it is not a product from our company. We described everything meticulously in response to the complaint to RJF Furnishings, no one commented on our letter. We also sent such information to the owner of RJF Furnishings- Amjed Mahmood that these are not our products, but he stubbornly claimed that all complaints are our fault and the goods come from our production, including those complaints that were before the start of our business, which is absurd .

We also informed the RJF Furnishngs company many times (already at the beginning of the year) that our products are permanently signed and the person who made the product is marked. The lack of these markings on the advertised goods also proved that the complaints do not come from our goods.

Additionally, Mr. Amjed Mahmood claimed that we were the only supplier of the goods. However, the photos of the complaints and those posted on their website clearly indicated different producers.

And it was most visible when the furniture that was delivered to customers was composed of packages from various manufacturers. Complaints resulted from mixing packages from different producers, each of them having a different method of packing and labeling.

During the video interview, which took place after the complaints and requests for payment were sent to us, Mr. Amjed, standing next to the advertised furniture, which he claims they received from customers, was not able to show us our markings that should be on the furniture. At the moment when we asked to show these numbers and markings, he disconnected, and after a few minutes he continued the conversation, but already from the office, saying that he had no time to talk to us.

We tried to collect the debt through a law firm. After the correspondence of this law firm with the owner of RJF Furnishings, we received information that the client simply did not want to pay the amount owed to us in excess of 30,000 pounds.

We reported the extortion to the police, it is a crime.

We have been tricked and calculatingly deceived by RJF Furnishings and Mr. Amjed Mahmood, who has been evading payment to this day.

In our opinion, Amjed Mahmood was intent on deceiving us from the beginning and he carried out his plans in a planned manner.
